Challenge

To celebrate 40 years of global vaccines, bring together influencers outside of the health space to put pressure on governments to fund vaccines through GAVI for the worlds poorest 73 countries.

Tactics

The Art of Saving a Life project, a new initiative that brings together more than 30 world-renowned musicians, writers, filmmakers, painters, sculptors and photographers to demonstrate how vaccines continue to positively change the course of history. Artists include Angélique Kidjo, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, GMB Akash, Sophie Blackall, Thomas Ganter, Lang Lang, Vik Muniz, Alexia Sinclair and Others. Impact

EI oversaw the creative management of many of the artists, identified and cultivated the communications company, advised Gates on much of the strategy and execution of the campaign. Additionally EI provided business and legal input on the area of arts and entertainment for Gates.

EI produced or executive produced various artists including Lang Lang’s video and the tracks from Angélique Kidjo, and Yuna.
