Holly MacDonald

 

Untitled-3Holly MacDonald received her BA from Hampshire College in 2013 in neuropsychology and public health. Her thesis covered the physiology and psychology of playing music, which examined the intersections between creative expression and health. Holly has worked domestically and abroad on projects in sustainable agriculture, and has supported public health programs for at-risk youth in Western Massachusetts.

In addition to her pursuits in health-related fields, Holly has worked in the music industry for seven years. Most recently, she was the music video Producer for “Hey, Doreen” by Lucius, alongside internationally renowned team LeBlanc + Cudmore. She began her work in music through supporting the founder of the Community Music and Arts Network, developing programming to create opportunities in music for rural youth. She later worked with Tony Margherita Management, interning during Wilco’s first curation of the Solid Sound festival at MASS MoCA. She has contributed to various music festivals in the Northeast.

For Holly, Entertain Impact creates synergy between the two fields that drive her focus. A native of the Catskill Mountains, Holly presently resides in New York City.

Entertain Impact is a cause entertainment agency that mobilizes the power of entertainment for positive social change. With several decades of deep experience and established relationships in the entertainment and philanthropic communities, we are uniquely positioned to bridge, navigate and translate between the two worlds. Uniquely to cause agencies, we actively work on the making and marketing of Oscar®, Grammy®, and global award-winning productions. While our philanthropic campaigns have won numerous awards for our partners such as PR News Global Campaign of the Year, Harris Interactive Non-Profit EquiTrend Brand of The Year, Top 1% PSA of the Year, and a Guinness World Record.
