On September 16, Paul M. Katz spoke at TedX UN Plaza about the power of entertainment for cause. He talked about how someone can get started making the changes that they want to see in the world using the skills that make them unique. “In cause entertainment, we act on behalf of the good guys – the NGOs, foundations, nonprofits – by wrapping up serious subjects in entertaining packages,” Paul said.
The theme of this TedX event was: ”BRAVE: United in Action,” which focused on bringing thought leaders and emerging pioneers together to explore a multidisciplinary approach to bravery in our world today. Other featured speakers included: Jess Ghannam, renowned humanitarian and psychologist; Mallory Weggemann, U.S. paralympic swimmer; Robert Swan, the first man to walk on both North and South poles; and many other inspiring and brave thought leaders.
